Job Description


Location: Indore Job Type: Full-Time : We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Management Employee to join our team at Fareto International. As a Stock Management Employee, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization, storage, and tracking of inventory. Your role will be crucial in maintaining accurate stock levels and ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. Responsibilities: Inventory Control: Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of items received.
Inspect and record the condition of products upon arrival.
Organize and store products in designated areas to optimize space utilization.
Maintain a neat and well-organized warehouse or storage area. Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and anticipate stock replenishment needs.
Collaborate with purchasing or procurement teams to ensure timely reordering.
Maintain a balanced stock level to prevent overstocking or stockouts. Stock Tracking: Utilize inventory management software to track stock movement and quantities.
Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure data accuracy.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to the appropriate teams.
Rotate stock as needed to ensure that older items are used or sold first (FIFO).
Ensure that stored products are handled and stacked in a way that prevents damage. Reporting and Documentation: Generate and maintain accurate records of stock movement, receipts, and disbursements.
Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock turnover, and stock-related trends.
Provide reports to management on stock status and recommendations for improvement. Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and sales, to align stock levels with demand forecasts.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure proper stock availability for upcoming orders or projects. Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Further education in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in stock management, inventory control, or a related role preferred.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift and move packages, boxes, or products.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage time efficiently.
