Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Stock Auditor is responsible for leading stock audit activities, assessing inventory management practices, conducting risk assessments, and verifying the accuracy of stock records. This position requires a detailed understanding of accounting principles, inventory management systems, and auditing procedures.

Stock Auditing:

Conduct thorough physical inspections of inventory and stock to verify quantities and conditions. Analyze and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records. Develop and implement audit plans and procedures for stock reviews. Prepare reports summarizing audit findings, making recommendations for corrective actions. Identify and assess risks related to stock management and reporting. Recommend improvements and best practices to mitigate identified risks. Work closely with operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure effective inventory management.

Experience:

7-10 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on inventory and stock auditing; prior experience as an auditor or inventory manager is highly desirable.
