Department: Audit & Inventory Control
Reports To: Management / Senior Finance Manager
Job Objective:
To safeguard company assets by conducting systematic stock audits, ensuring accuracy of inventory records, and detecting discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct periodic stock audits across showrooms, stores, and warehouses.
Verify physical stock against ERP/system records and highlight variances.
Monitor inward & outward movement of jewellery, gold, diamonds, and other items.
Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
Prepare reconciliation reports with findings and corrective action plans.
Investigate stock discrepancies, pilferage, or process gaps.
Suggest improvements in inventory management and internal controls.
Coordinate with store managers, accounts, and auditors for stock verifications.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong numerical and analytical ability.
Eye for detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of stock management systems/ERP (jewellery ERP preferred).
Integrity, confidentiality, and vigilance.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and audit reporting tools.
Qualifications:
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance/Accounts) or equivalent.
Fresher Can also Apply
2-4 years of experience in stock/inventory audit (jewellery/retail industry preferred).
