Key Responsibilities:Guest Service & Order Taking:

Greet guests warmly, escort them to tables, and present menus. Provide detailed information on menu items, specials, and promotions. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar. Ensure timely and proper service of orders while maintaining quality standards. Address guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests professionally.

Food & Beverage Service:

Serve food and beverages efficiently, following service protocols. Perform table settings, refilling beverages, and clearing plates between courses. Upsell menu items, recommend wine pairings, and promote special offers. Ensure cutlery, glassware, and dishes are clean and arranged correctly.

Cleanliness & Hygiene:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the dining area and service stations. Follow hygiene and safety guidelines as per company and local health regulations. Assist in daily cleaning and closing duties, ensuring the restaurant is tidy.

Teamwork & Coordination:

Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow waitstaff to ensure smooth operations. Assist in preparing tables, arranging decorations, and setting up buffet stations. Participate in pre-service briefings and training sessions.

Billing & Cash Handling:

Present bills to guests, process payments, and handle cash/card transactions. Follow proper billing and accounting procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum 10th/12th pass; diploma in hospitality preferred.

Experience:

1+ year experience as a Steward/Waiter in a restaurant, hotel, or banquet setup.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Basic math skills for order calculations and billing.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long hours and lift trays/dishes when required. Neat and well-groomed appearance.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
