Cleaning and Maintenance:
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes.
Maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas, counters, and storage areas.
Ensure that all kitchen and dining areas are free from debris and spills.Dishwashing and Sanitation:
Operate dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glasses, and cutlery.
Hand-wash larger items and specialized kitchen tools.
Follow sanitation standards for washing, rinsing, and drying items.
Dispose of garbage and recyclables appropriately.
Stock and Inventory:
Assist with the receipt and proper storage of supplies and food items.
Keep track of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
Help organize and rotate stock to minimize waste.
Assisting in Food Service:
Support chefs and kitchen staff by fetching supplies or ingredients as needed.
Help with light food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or preparing garnishes.
Set up tables, linens, silverware, and ensure dining areas are presentable for guests.
