This position is critical to ensuring smooth back-of-house operations and excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities: As a Steward:
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dishwashing area, and equipment.
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using manual or automated equipment.
Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are stored properly.
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with safety protocols.
Remove trash and ensure sanitation standards are met.
Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries.
As a Food Runner:
Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to the correct tables.
Confirm that food is presented properly and matches the order.
Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff.
Assist servers in clearing and resetting tables as needed.
Provide friendly and professional interaction with guests when delivering food.
Handle special guest requests or dietary requirements with attention to detail.
