The Steward Supervisor is responsible for managing the stewarding team, ensuring cleanliness, and overseeing dishwashing operations at Beach Terrace. This role includes supervising staff, allocating duties, and maintaining high service and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Supervise and lead the stewarding and dishwash teams.
Allocate daily tasks to team members to ensure smooth operations.
Cleanliness & Hygiene:
Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and glassware are cleaned and stored properly.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dining area, and other restaurant spaces.
Customer Service Support:
Assist the service team in providing excellent guest service.
Handle guest complaints or requests when needed.
Stock Control:
Monitor and maintain stock of cleaning supplies and tableware.
Report any shortages or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Training & Development:
Train new staff and conduct briefings for the team.
Skills & Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role in hospitality or restaurants.
Knowledge of cleaning and hygiene standards.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to handle busy situations.
Salary:
?15,000 to ?20,000 per month
(depending on experience).
Work Schedule:
One weekly day off
(Monday to Thursday, as per schedule).
Shifts as per the restaurant's operating hours.
