The Steward is responsible for delivering excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist guests in a polite and professional manner
Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve them promptly
Ensure table setup, cleanliness, and proper presentation at all times
Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards as per FSSAI guidelines
Assist in clearing tables and resetting for the next service
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service
Handle guest queries and basic complaints courteously
Follow outlet SOPs and service standards
Requirements & Skills
Basic knowledge of food & beverage service
Hotel Management background preferred (freshers welcome)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Well-groomed and presentable personality
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
Team player with a positive attitude
