Steward
to join our Food & Beverage team and help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
Job Summary
The Steward is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas. This role supports the culinary and service teams by ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas including floors, counters, and equipment.
Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep tasks when needed.
Properly handle and operate dishwashing machinery.
Remove waste, clean trash bins, and maintain overall kitchen hygiene.
Restock cleaning supplies and alert management when inventories are low.
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Qualifications
Previous stewarding or kitchen experience is a plus but not required--training provided.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
Schedule
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Full-time and part-time shifts available.
