Job Description

A restaurant steward ensures smooth dining operations by maintaining cleanliness, setting up dining areas, assisting servers, and providing excellent guest service, handling tasks from greeting guests and setting tables to washing dishes and stocking supplies, all while upholding hygiene standards. They are the backbone of restaurant upkeep, ensuring a pleasant and organized environment for both customers and staff. Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

Greeting patrons, escorting them to tables, presenting menus, serving water/drinks, and clearing tables.

Dining Setup & Maintenance:

Setting tables with linens, cutlery, and decorations; cleaning tables after use; ensuring cleanliness of floors and service areas.

Sanitation & Hygiene:

Washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and ensuring all areas meet health standards.

Staff Support:

Stocking server stations with napkins, utensils, condiments; assisting waitstaff with food/drink delivery.
Essential Skills & Qualities:

Customer-Focused:

Friendly, polite, and calm under pressure.

Team Player:

Works well with kitchen and serving staff.

Physically Fit:

Able to stand, move quickly, and lift items.

Reliable & Responsible:

Maintains high standards of hygiene and organization.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
