Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Hospitality:
Greet guests warmly and assist in seating arrangements.
Provide excellent service by attending to guest needs promptly.
Serve food and beverages professionally and courteously.
Table Setup & Maintenance:
Ensure tables are set up with clean utensils, napkins, and glassware.
Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and dining areas.
Clear tables and reset them efficiently for the next guests.
Coordination & Assistance:
Assist kitchen staff and servers in food preparation and delivery.
Communicate guest requests or special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
Support bartenders and waitstaff as needed.
Cleanliness & Hygiene:
Follow hygiene and sanitation standards in the restaurant.
Ensure proper disposal of waste and maintain a tidy work environment.
Follow safety protocols for handling food and beverages.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience as a Steward or in the hospitality industry preferred.
Customer Service Skills:
Friendly, polite, and professional approach.
Teamwork:
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Attention to Detail:
Maintain high cleanliness and service standards.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long hours and carry trays of food and beverages.
Basic Communication Skills:
Ability to take orders and interact with guests effectively.
