Job Summary
The Steward will be responsible for keeping the kitchen and dishwashing areas clean, organized, and sanitized. This role is essential in supporting the culinary team and ensuring smooth back-of-house operations at our partner hotels and resorts in Goa.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, clean, and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, and pans.
Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper hygiene practices.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, storage areas, and workstations.
Ensure all cleaned items are stored properly and safely.
Handle waste disposal and recycling as per hotel standards.
Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing supplies when required.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and food handling guidelines.
Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks when needed.
Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
