The Steward is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and professional service to guests. This role includes greeting customers, taking orders, serving food & beverages, ensuring table management, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and courtesy.
Take accurate food & beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently.
Ensure correct presentation and temperature of food before serving.
Manage table setups, clear tables, and reset them for the next guests.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
Upsell and recommend menu items, specials, and promotions to increase sales.
Ensure customer needs are met and handle requests efficiently.
Process customer bills, handle cash/card payments, and provide receipts.
Address guest complaints politely and escalate to supervisors when needed.
Follow grooming standards, uniform policy, and service protocols.
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualification & Experience
Minimum 10th/12th pass (Hospitality diploma preferred).
1-4 years of experience in restaurants/hotels (freshers may be considered).
Knowledge of POS systems & billing will be an advantage

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
