Job Description

Job Purpose:

Company 3/Method Inc is seeking a Stereo Compositor is responsible for combining live action and computer-generated elements into visual effects shots, as well as oversees others who combine elements to realize the vision and creative direction of the client, project, and Stereographer.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Compositing Supervisor and/or the Comp Lead to determine the best approach to paint and finish stereo shots for our pipeline
• Complete work on schedule while maintaining constant communication with the Production Team and Leads
• Self QC for assigned task and to make sure task is getting over on or before given ETA.
• Take creative direction from supervisors, team leads as and when required.
• Updating FLUX with required status-updates, responses.
• Cooperation with the dynamic changes in the production requirements. (Project priorities / shift coverage\xe2\x80\x99s)
• Reporting to the Compositing Supervisor
• Able to communicate clearly across multiple departments.
• Complete and submit weekly time-sheets

Requirements

• Minimum 0.6 - 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in high-end feature film or commercial, Keying experience in a VFX facility
• Working knowledge of and ability to use Mocha, Silhouette,
• Understanding of general VFX methodologies. Stereography knowledge is a plus.
• Minimum of 0.6+ years live action visual effects compositing experience
• Proficient in Nuke
• Experience in projection, CG integration, keying and clean-up/paint removal techniques
• Excellent understanding of colour space, basic Nuke expressions and plate distortion
• Strong eye for detail
• Fast and efficient, with the ability to work under tight deadlines with a minimum of supervision
• The ability to collaborate with other compositors to share knowledge and techniques
• Organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Perform visual and analytical problem solving in both 3D and 2D space
• Experience in Stereoscopic Compositing is a plus
• Completion of a formal educational course in the Arts or Sciences

4. Punctuality and Discipline: * Need to give prior intimation and approval from department manager before availing leaves, there shall not be any unplanned leaves.

• Need to maintain minimum requirement for punctuality.
• Always maintain essential discipline and have professional working relationship with reporting manager and management.
