Job Summary
The Stenographer-cum-Computer Operator is responsible for providing stenographic support, accurate documentation, and computer-based administrative assistance in the hospital. The role involves shorthand transcription, preparation of official correspondence, data entry, record maintenance, and general clerical support to ensure smooth administrative operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesStenography & Documentation
Take dictation in shorthand from hospital ?????????? / medical officers / administrators.
Transcribe dictation accurately and promptly using computer systems.
Computer & Office Operations
Operate computers efficiently for word processing, data entry, and record management.
Maintain digital files, databases, and hospital records.
Use hospital information systems (HIS) or other software as required.
Handle emails, scanning, printing, and photocopying of documents.
Administrative Support
Assist in maintaining patient, staff, and administrative records.
Support scheduling of meetings and preparation of related documents.
Coordinate with various hospital departments for information and documentation.
Perform any other clerical or administrative duties assigned by the authority.
