Job Summary

The Stenographer-cum-Computer Operator is responsible for providing stenographic support, accurate documentation, and computer-based administrative assistance in the hospital. The role involves shorthand transcription, preparation of official correspondence, data entry, record maintenance, and general clerical support to ensure smooth administrative operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesStenography & Documentation

Take dictation in shorthand from hospital ?????????? / medical officers / administrators. Transcribe dictation accurately and promptly using computer systems.
Computer & Office Operations

Operate computers efficiently for word processing, data entry, and record management. Maintain digital files, databases, and hospital records. Use hospital information systems (HIS) or other software as required. Handle emails, scanning, printing, and photocopying of documents.
Administrative Support

Assist in maintaining patient, staff, and administrative records. Support scheduling of meetings and preparation of related documents. Coordinate with various hospital departments for information and documentation. Perform any other clerical or administrative duties assigned by the authority.
Required Qualifications

Minimum

10+2 (Intermediate)

or equivalent from a recognized board.

Stenography certification

(English/Hindi) from a recognized institute. Certificate in

Computer Applications

or equivalent.
Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in shorthand and transcription. Good typing speed and accuracy. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and basic computer operations. Familiarity with office procedures and hospital environment (preferred). Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
Experience

Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare institution is desirable but not mandatory.
Working Conditions

Office-based role within hospital premises. May require coordination with multiple departments and adherence to hospital timings. Prepare letters, notices, reports, circulars, minutes of meetings, and official documents. Maintain confidentiality of medical and administrative records.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
