Job Description

We are looking for a STEM Content Analyst to join our Molecular Interactions team within Systems Biology group in India (Chennai/Hyderabad). This is an amazing opportunity to work on the MetaBase database supporting several products and services across Clarivate. The team consists of 15 people across Chennai, Hyderabad, and Spain, and this role reports to the Systems Biology Team Manager. We have a great skill set in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, toxicology, and pharmacology, with complementary skill sets to address challenges in biomarker discovery, target identification, drug repositioning, and network biology. We would love to speak with you if you have skills in biomedicine and molecular interactions.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

Degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or Medicine. Strong background in cellular and molecular biology processes, with basic knowledge in human pathology. Proficient in English. Good scientific research and analytical skills, with attention to detail. Used to work paying attention to detail, with high ability to interpret and explain large amount of data. Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of diverse collaborators. General computer proficiency (MS Office) and ability to quickly learn new software tools.

It would be great if you also had . . .

MSc and/or post-graduate laboratory research experience in Molecular Biology/Cell Biology would be highly desirable. Experience with pathway and network analyses is advantageous. Experience in databases and relationship models is advantageous Artificial Intelligence skills at the user/ prompter level

What will you be doing in this role?

Deep analysis of the scientific literature to index molecular interactions and cellular mechanisms of normal and pathological processes. Use scientific expertise to ensure that the information is properly presented and organized following Editorial policies in our Systems Biology database. Adhere to Content publishing schedules and quality standards. Maintains and develops scientific knowledge and skills training as required to complete work and stay current on scientific trends and developments related to the employee's editorial responsibilities. Takes initiative by raising, discussing, and contributing to resolving subject matter issues

About the Team

We are a global, high-performing, synergistic team of 15 members, including associate content editors, content editors, senior content editors, and senior content specialists, making up the Systems Biology team. Our flagship database is MetaBase, which further powers other Clarivate's products and data services to help customers quickly and accurately analyze multi-omics data. Hours of Work

This is a full-time permanent position, with flexible 8 working hours/day in the core time of 9:00 am-17:00 pm (IST). Workdays - Monday to Friday with a hybrid working system, working from the office and digital workplace as per location policies.
