Role Overview

We are seeking a Steel / Structural Engineer with hands-on experience in solar mounting structures. The role focuses on design, analysis, and execution support of steel structures used in rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and site conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and analyze steel solar mounting structures (rooftop & ground-mounted) Perform structural calculations for: Dead load, live load Wind load & uplift Seismic considerations (where applicable) Prepare and review: Structural design reports GA drawings & fabrication drawings BOQs and material specifications Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards: Coordinate with: Design team Procurement Installation & site teams Provide technical support during execution, including site queries and modifications Optimize structure design for cost efficiency and material reduction Ensure corrosion protection standards (HDG thickness, coatings, fasteners)

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering Strong expertise in steel structure design Prior experience in solar mounting structures (Beneficial) Proficiency in design & detailing software such as: STAAD / ETABS / SAP2000 Tekla / AutoCAD (minimum AutoCAD required) Good understanding of: Connection design (bolts, welds) Fabrication & erection practices Ability to interpret architectural & site drawings

Good to Have (Preferred)

Experience with solar projects Exposure to large-scale commercial / industrial solar installations Experience coordinating with international clients or remote project teams

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
