Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Structural Engineering

Software Skills: STAAD Pro, Idea statica , AutoCAD(preferred)

Job

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer (Steel) to lead the structural design and analysis of industrial and commercial projects. The position involves developing safe, efficient, and cost-effective steel structure designs, collaborating closely with architects and MEP teams, and ensuring all work meets applicable codes, standards ,and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structure analysis and design of steel structures using STAAD Pro and Idea statica. Prepare and review design calculations ,connection designs, and fabrication drawings. Coordinate with architects ,MEP, and project management team sto ensure seamless design integration. Ensure design compliance with applicable codes(IS, BS ,AISC ,Eurocode). Participate in design reviews, shop drawing validation, and site coordination. Conduct structural audits, load checks, and issue technical clarifications. Support project documentation and assist in preparation of BOQ sand design reports.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong experience in steel structure design and detailing (industrial, plant, or commercial projects). Proficiency in STAAD Pro, Idea statica (connection design),and AutoCAD. Knowledge of IS/AISC/BS/ Euro standards. Good understanding of structural behaviour , load paths, and connections Strong coordination, communication skills.

Education & Experience

B.E/ B.TECH in civil / Structural Engineer ( M.E/ M.TECH preferred for senior roles). 5-10 years of relevant experience in steel structure design and detailing .

Preferred Background

Experience in industrial Structure , steel plant process buildings, conveyors, or pipe racks. Exposure to 3D modeling tools or BIM is an added advantage.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
