Job Description

1. Production & Operations Management



Plan, organize, and control foundry operations to meet customer delivery schedules. Monitor daily melting, molding, core making, pouring, fettling, and heat-treatment processes. Optimize production resources (manpower, machines, materials, and methods) for efficiency. Ensure adherence to production targets, yields, and rejections within acceptable limits.

2. Quality Assurance & Customer Focus



Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, metallurgical specifications, and customer requirements. Review quality reports (NDT, microstructure, mechanical testing) and take corrective actions. Coordinate with the Quality Control team to minimize defects, rework, and customer complaints. Promote continuous improvement through root-cause analysis and preventive measures.

3. Safety, Health & Environment (HSE)



Enforce compliance with statutory and company safety norms. Implement best practices in occupational health, fire safety, and environmental protection. Drive 5S, housekeeping, and safe work culture across all departments.

4. Cost Control & Resource Management



Manage plant budgets, production costs, energy usage, and raw material consumption. Ensure optimal utilization of scrap, alloys, consumables, and utilities. Control overheads, wastage, and improve operating margins. Drive lean manufacturing and energy conservation initiatives.

5. Maintenance & Asset Management



Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of melting furnaces, cranes, compressors, molding machines, and utilities. Ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability. Approve capital expenditure and modernization proposals.

6. Manpower Management & Leadership



Lead and motivate a team of engineers, supervisors, and workmen. Ensure training, skill development, and multi-skilling of workforce. Resolve labor issues in coordination with HR and maintain healthy industrial relations. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

7. Compliance & Reporting



Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Factory Act, Pollution Control, ISO, IATF, etc.). Maintain accurate production, rejection, cost, and efficiency records. Submit regular MIS reports to top management. Support audits (internal, customer, and statutory).

8. Strategic Development



Identify opportunities for process automation, new technology adoption, and foundry modernization. Participate in capacity expansion, new product development, and business growth plans. Implement TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement tools.

Pay: ?55,000.00 - ?56,000.00 per month
