The Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic and articulate individuals to join our team as STEAM Lab Instructors. In this role, you will be facilitating engaging and guiding learners through hands-on projects.
Your Primary Mandate: To explain STEAM concepts with clarity, patience, and inspiration. Excellent, fluent English is the essential foundation for this role.
Key Responsibilities
:
Deliver Engaging Instruction: Lead and facilitate hands-on STEAM activities for diverse groups.
Explain Complex Concepts Clearly: Break down technical topics (e.g., coding logic, engineering principles, scientific phenomena) into digestible, understandable lessons for various age and skill levels.
Guide & Mentor: Provide supportive and constructive guidance to participants as they build, code, experiment, and create.
Ensure a Safe Environment: Enforce all lab safety protocols and procedures.
Inspire a Love for Learning: Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and creative atmosphere where every participant feels encouraged to try, fail, and succeed.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
:
Non-Negotiable Requirement: Fluent, proficient, and clear verbal and written communication skills in English. You must be able to command a room and explain concepts with ease and confidence.
A Passion for STEAM: A strong interest or background in one or more of the following: Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, Life/Physical Sciences, Digital Arts, or Mathematics.
A Natural Communicator & Educator: You love teaching and have a knack for making learning fun and accessible. Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, or camp counseling is a significant plus.
Patient & Encouraging: You are energized by working with learners and are skilled at fostering a positive and supportive environment.
Hands-On Problem-Solver: You enjoy tinkering, building, and figuring things out. Practical, hands-on skills are highly valued.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with specific lab equipment (3D printers, robotics kits like LEGO Mindstorms/VEX, etc.).
