We are looking for a Statutory & Payroll Officer with 3-5 years of experience in the hospital sector to handle day-to-day statutory compliance activities along with payroll and attendance closure for both on-roll and contract staff. The role involves hands-on work, coordination with departments, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all compliance and payroll-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Statutory Compliance:
Perform daily statutory tasks related to statutory operations.
Maintain and update all statutory documents.
Coordinate with departments and government authorities during inspections, audits, and statutory submissions.
Maintain statutory registers and ensure accurate documentation as per compliance requirements.
Assist in identifying compliance gaps and support corrective actions.
Payroll & Attendance:
Handle monthly payroll processing for both on-roll and contract staff.
Verify and close attendance data, leaves, shift records, and overtime details within timelines.
Maintain employee records related to attendance, salary structures, and statutory deductions.
Ensure accurate calculation of PF, ESI, bonus, gratuity, and other statutory components in payroll.
Requirements:
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Human Resources.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in statutory compliance and payroll activities within a hospital or healthcare setup.
Strong understanding of hospital regulations and payroll statutory components.
Good coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
Preference for candidates based in Chennai or willing to relocate.
