The Statutory Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to all statutory and regulatory requirements related to labor laws and employment legislation. The role involves managing and maintaining compliance with laws such as PF, ESIC, Labor Welfare Fund, and other applicable labor laws, ensuring timely filings and proper documentation.
Minimum Qualification:
Education:
Graduation (any stream)
Professional Qualification:
MBA / PPA / other recognized professional courses in HR, Compliance, or related fields
Experience:
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in statutory and labor law compliance
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely registration, maintenance, and renewal of all statutory licenses and certificates.
Handle end-to-end compliance related to
Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESIC), Labor Welfare Fund, and Professional Tax
.
Prepare and file statutory returns and reports as per government timelines.
Maintain compliance records, registers, and documentation as per applicable labor laws.
Coordinate with government departments and regulatory authorities during inspections and audits.
Stay updated with amendments in labor laws and ensure their effective implementation within the organization.
Support HR and payroll teams in ensuring statutory deductions and submissions are accurate and timely.
Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure 100% statutory compliance.
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of PF, ESIC and other labor laws.
Excellent understanding of statutory filing procedures and timelines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
