We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented

Statutory Audit professional

with 3-4 years of experience to join our finance team in Churchgate, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

conducting statutory audits of companies

, ensuring compliance with the

Companies Act, 2013, and applicable accounting standards

.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in conducting

statutory audits

of private and public companies. Verify the

accuracy and completeness of financial statements

in compliance with accounting standards (Ind AS / AS). Perform

vouching, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations

to ensure correct financial reporting. Review

internal controls, processes, and adherence to statutory regulations

. Prepare and maintain

audit working papers, schedules, and documentation

. Liaise with client management and external auditors to

resolve audit queries

. Support in

tax compliance checks, GST reviews, and regulatory reporting

. Keep updated with

changes in laws, regulations, and audit standards

.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

Companies Act, 2013, Ind AS, Accounting Standards, and audit procedures

. Experience in

vouching, reconciliations, and financial statement review

. Familiarity with

ERP systems and accounting software

. Strong

analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

. Ability to work independently and in teams, with high attention to detail.

Education & Certification:

CA Final from

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

.

Experience:

3 - 4 years in

statutory audits or related finance/audit functions

in corporates, professional services, or auditing firms.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
