Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data collection frameworks, surveys, and sampling plans. Clean, validate, and manage datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity. Apply appropriate statistical techniques (descriptive, inferential, multivariate) to analyze data. Develop statistical models, forecasts, and trend analyses. Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders. Interpret results and translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights. Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and ethical standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and KPIs. Maintain documentation of methodologies, assumptions, and processes. Support audits, evaluations, and impact assessments as required.
Qualifications & Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Biostatistics, or a related field. Formal training in statistical methods and data analysis.
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of statistical theory and methods. Proficiency in statistical software/tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, SAS, Stata, Excel). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage. Ability to manage large datasets and databases. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and high standards of data accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience

5 years of relevant experience in statistical analysis, research, or data analytics (experience requirements may vary by level). Experience in government, research institutions, healthcare, manufacturing, finance, or consulting is desirable.
Reporting & Collaboration

Reports to: Senior Statistician / Data Analytics Manager / Research Head (as applicable). Works closely with research, operations, policy, and management teams.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
