: State Sales Manager - Agriculture Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced State Sales Manager to lead our agriculture-focused sales team within Newchem Sunraysia Pvt Ltd . As the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets for our agricultural products across the designated state. Your leadership and strategic abilities will be pivotal in expanding our market presence, building strong customer relationships, and optimizing sales operations within the agricultural sector. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy and Planning:Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the agricultural sector in the designated state, aligned with overall company objectives.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to create tailored sales approaches. Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and motivate the state\'s agricultural sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance and product knowledge. Market Expansion:Identify and evaluate potential customers, distributors, and partners to expand the company\'s agricultural market presence.
Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, agribusinesses, cooperatives, and government agencies. Revenue Generation:Drive the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets, ensuring consistent growth in product sales and market share.
Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions for maximizing revenue opportunities. Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Sales Operations:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order processing, inventory management, and delivery of products to customers.
Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions. Budget Management:Develop and manage the state\'s agricultural sales budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve targets and objectives.
Monitor expenses and financial metrics to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a related field. Master\'s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience 3 in agricultural sales, with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the agriculture industry, including crop cultivation, agri-inputs, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret sales data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
