We empower teachers, administrators, and communities to enhance the classroom learning experience by leveraging technology and data analytics. Institutional Strengthening Program: To enable SCERTs and DIETs to build expertise and develop implementation strategies aligned with NEP 2020.

Teacher Education Program: Preparing teachers of the future by building the capacity of pre-service and in-service teachers

Data Analytics Support Program: Driving a culture of data-driven decision-making in the public education system

EdIndia Foundation is looking for a State Head for its program in Raipur- Chhattisgarh. The State Head will get opportunities to manage and work actively with Teacher-students, colleges & DIETs and engage them in several interventions of EdIndia's Projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Planning

Manage implementation of EdIndia's programs across the state and provide strategic direction for enhancing scale and effectiveness.

Develop annual state-level work plans, targets, and budgets aligned with organizational priorities.

Stay apprised of the education ecosystem in Chhattisgarh to adapt and refine program strategies.

2. Stakeholder & Government Engagement

Collaborate with SCERT, DIETs, PSTEIs, and Samagra Shiksha to strengthen the teacher education program and data analytics program in the state.

Negotiate and manage MoUs with government bodies and private institutes to maximize program participation.

Represent EdIndia at strategic forums, government reviews, and education events to raise awareness and visibility.

3. Program Implementation & Quality Assurance

Lead interventions across the state including organizing workshops, training programs, and learning circles for teachers, faculty, and PSTs.

Drive ownership of all three program strands: Institutional Strengthening program, teacher education and data analytics.

Monitor program performance, identify challenges, and ensure delivery quality and fidelity to design.

4. Team Leadership & Capacity Building

Lead and mentor a team of project coordinators/officers, set performance goals, and address concerns proactively.

Build team capacity in government engagement, academic facilitation, and project management.

Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.

5. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

Oversee collection, analysis, and reporting of program data and impact metrics.

Communicate progress to both internal and external state stakeholders.

Use insights from field experiences to inform organizational strategy and advocacy.

6. Financial & Administrative Oversight

Manage state-level budgets and ensure effective utilization of resources.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, statutory requirements, and partner obligations.

7. Partnerships & Ecosystem Engagement

Build collaborations with NGOs, academic institutions, and CSR partners to strengthen innovation and program scale.

Identify and engage with thought leaders to position EdIndia as a key contributor in education reform at the state level

Education & Experience

Postgraduate in Education (M.Ed.), Social Work (MSW), Development Studies, or D.El.Ed.; M.Ed. preferred.

Minimum 10 years of overall work experience, with 3-5 years in teacher education/education/development sector and managing projects.

Experience working with SSA, SCERT, DIETs, or government teacher-education institutes preferred.

Proven ability to conceptualize, design, and implement projects at scale.

Knowledge, Skills, and Capabilities

Deep understanding of teacher education systems in India and the challenges faced by the sector.

Knowledge of government policies and teacher training schemes in Chhattisgarh.

Familiarity with DIETs, SCERTs, and PSTEIs.

Strong program management and strategic thinking abilities to scale initiatives.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.

Facilitation skills to conduct workshops and academic discussions.

Ability to work in dynamic environments with changing priorities; solution-oriented approach.

Functional proficiency in Hindi and English (spoken and written).
