Role Overview



We are looking for a driven and process-oriented

Startup Funding Coordinator / Government Grants Associate

to lead all government grant and non-dilutive capital initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying relevant schemes, preparing proposals, and ensuring successful disbursement of funds from central and state-level startup programs (e.g., SISFS, TIDE 2.0, MSME, DST, etc.).

The ideal candidate will have

prior experience in grant application cycles

and understand the Indian startup ecosystem, including

DPIIT processes, incubator networks, and government compliance

.

Key Responsibilities



Grant Identification & Tracking

Identify relevant central/state government schemes (e.g., Startup India, TIDE, DST, MSME, SIDBI) Maintain a calendar of application cycles and deadlines

Proposal Writing & Documentation

Prepare startup pitch decks, DPRs, and financial statements tailored to grant formats Fill applications, coordinate attachments, and ensure submission on respective portals (Startup India, MeitY, BIRAC, etc.)

Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with startup incubators, accelerators, government departments, and SIDBI for endorsements and affiliations Track the progress of applications and maintain ongoing communication

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure all reporting, utilization certificates, and compliance documentation are submitted as per scheme guidelines Maintain a grant status dashboard and funding tracker

Target Ownership

Expected to raise a minimum of

?20-50 Lakhs

in non-dilutive capital per quarter through eligible schemes Support in raising up to ?1 Cr over 6-12 months through combined grant programs

Candidate Profile



Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Finance, Public Policy, or related field 1-3 years' experience working in or with a

startup incubator, accelerator, or grant consulting firm

Strong writing and documentation skills, especially in proposal and business plan formats Familiarity with DPIIT registration, Startup India Portal, and MeitY schemes Detail-oriented, self-driven, and able to manage multiple applications in parallel Bonus: Knowledge of basic financial projections or fundraising strategy
