Startup Founders' Office - Duties & Responsibilities
Role Overview
The Founders' Office is a high-impact role designed to act as the right hand of the founders. The position requires working across strategy, operations, investor relations, and special projects, ensuring seamless execution of the founder's vision.
Key Duties & Responsibilities.
1. Strategic Support.
Work directly with founders to drive company-wide strategy and execution.
Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and data analysis for decision-making.
Draft and refine business models, financial projections, and fundraising materials.
2. Operations & Execution.
Drive cross-functional projects and ensure timely execution of priorities.
Set up OKRs/metrics and track performance across teams.
Identify gaps in operations and propose process improvements.
3. Investor & Stakeholder Management.
Prepare board decks, investor updates, and key reports.
Assist founders in fundraising activities - research, outreach, due diligence, and documentation.
Maintain strong relationships with ecosystem partners, accelerators, and advisors.
4. Business Development & Partnerships.
Support the founders in identifying and building strategic partnerships.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and collaborators.
Evaluate new revenue opportunities and business models.
5. Special Projects.
Lead time-sensitive and confidential projects directly on behalf of founders.
Act as project manager for product launches, pilots, or key initiatives.
Represent the founders in internal and external meetings when required.
6. Communication & Alignment.
Act as a bridge between founders and functional teams, ensuring clear communication.
Draft speeches, press notes, and strategic communication for leadership.
Ensure alignment of day-to-day execution with the company's long-term vision.
Ideal Candidate Profile.
0-5 years of experience in consulting, VC/PE, investment banking, or startup operations.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Highly resourceful, proactive, and able to thrive in ambiguity.
Demonstrates ownership, confidentiality, and ability to multitask.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹8,885.05 - ₹50,841.56 per month
