Recruiter / Recruitment Specialist
The role of the Recruiter is critical for CIEL s growth and the vision of emerging as one of the largest and most respected companies in recruiting and staffing.
Location: Reporting to: Responsibilities: (not in any order of significance)

  • User of Social Networks and Internet in general to connect with people and find Recruiting Process: (Non IT staffing is recruitment for Non IT contract roles, Perm hiring is recruitment for perm roles in a predetermined industry sector, General Staffing is for recruiting General skills across industry sectors)
  • Define job description and communicate the same in the public domain appropriately as well as with the potential candidates
  • Create a candidate persona for each open position/ mandate
  • Identify prospective candidates using a variety of sourcing channels and appropriate screening process
  • Follow-up references and check credibility of candidates
  • Present shortlisted candidates to the client in appropriately compelling manner
  • Coordinate with the client SPOCs rigorously throughout the recruiting cycle for each mandate
  • Follow a sustainable candidate lead strategy to create back-ups
  • Keep a track of candidates and requirements given by the client on the ATS
  • Clients:
  • Communicate with clients to get a clear view of their context, hiring needs and specific requirements of each mandate
  • Research the industry sector to which the client belongs and the client organisation - its service offerings, clients, competitors, plans and the attractiveness of the employer brand etc.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies based on clients needs
  • Build long-term client relationships to keep growing the wallet share in favour of CIEL
  • Subject matter expertise development:
  • Research the market trends around the skillsets hired in the industry - skills in demand, candidate behaviours, talent attraction methods in vogue etc.
  • Sustain a high quality of output on a consistent basis
  • Growth focus:
  • Follow the processes as defined by CIEL as well as the requirements given by the clients
  • Draw up an annual target, make account-level plan and execute the same to achieve the budget
  • Use data to track performance
  • Leverage technology in carrying out one s work
  • Show a hunger to create a bigger impact, learns best practices proactively and deploy them as appropriate
  • Go the extra mile beyond the call of duty, for example research and develop leads for new business opportunities
Ideal Profile: (not in any order of significance)
Has relevant experience in recruitment (preferably on the agency side) for the service line and the client industry sector this role will engage with [based on skill levels and experience, the job will be benchmarked within CIEL as L3, L4
Excellent understanding of recruitment processes including usage of technology such as ATS, Social Recruiting methods, Job portals etc
Deep knowledge of various methods used to select candidates and engage with candidates
Good understanding of Employer Branding strategies
Solution mindset
Skilled communicator - verbal as well as written, good listening skills, persuasive and empathetic in conversations
Knowledge about various industry sectors and current events related to business environment and economy
information about any topic
Believes in setting goals in life and doing one s best to achieve those goals
Believes in collaborative working with others in the team and builds rapport with internal stakeholders
Starts conversations easily and pays attention to details in the conversations
Manages long to-do items effectively within the timelines
