Risk and Identity Solutions team within VAS (Value Added Services) organization is looking for curious, creative, and hard-working technologists to join the team. This position is ideal for a software engineer who is passionate about solving challenging business problems and building applications that provide an excellent user experience. As a member of the Risk and Identity development team you will focus on design and build of software solutions that use data to solve critical business problems. You may craft brand-new software solutions, and at other times you may be refactoring existing functionality for performance and maintainability, but always working on ways to make us more efficient and provide better solutions to our customers. We are looking for .NET developers to develop our VCAS applications within our payment technology team. In this role, you will be tasked with projects ranging from full stack development of REST Service APIs, Back-end Batching applications, and Web Front-End User Interfaces that are highly functional, secure, scalable, and robust. You will collaborate with colleagues to understand client objectives and how our services cater to their business needs. You will be integral in creating an application that flows seamlessly and works intuitively with our merchants. You will:

• Understand client requirements and business goals to help them achieve their objectives
• Take full ownership of projects and coordinating associated engineering activities, ensuring timely delivery and quality
• Identify the most effective and creative solutions to various types of problems
• Write optimized and quality code while maintaining high standards of performance and security
• Mentor junior team members

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or with an Advanced degree
• C#, .NET (ASP.Net, WCF, WF, ADO.Net, Asmx, WebAPI) and Visual Studio
• Experience with SQL Server, Transact SQL, and Stored Procedures
• Understanding of distributed systems and implementing solutions using standard data structures and algorithms
• Demonstrable experience in designing and developing web applications using Web Services, understanding of commonly used design patterns. Experience in Unit Testing
• Experience with client-side technologies such as MVC(x), JavaScript, CSS/SASS, React, JQuery, HTML/HTML5
• Knowledge of web services standards and related technologies (XML, XSL, X-Path, JSON, Rest, Soap, WS*), Web Security, Asp.Net Web security infrastructure
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience in GIT, Maven, Jenkins, or similar build & automation tools
