Job Responsibilities

As our Staff Software Engineer, Webfront you\'ll be responsible for building new features, enhancing the existing ones as well as supporting them in production. You will also be responsible for building re-usable libraries or technology platforms that address multiple use cases. You will work towards delivering specific milestones and objectives in a very dynamic environment, mentor & guide junior engineers.

You will be in charge of the following:

• Functional availability of the software developed, enhancing the product based on functional requirements.
• Managing cloud-based services, web applications for their functional correctness, availability, security
• Own and provide detailed solutioning for given requirements/enhancements.
• Develop and deploy Front End applications based upon Javascript Frameworks with a focus on React js
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services.
• Own the engineering excellence and operational readiness of the service driving engineering SLI, SLO and SLA
• Take full ownership of front-end microservices responsible for the quality, security, scalability of such services
• Dive deep into each issue, own reactive fixes, and execute long term fixes
• Lead, groom and mentor junior engineers
• Assist Support Engineers on complex RCA issues
• Closely collaborate with the other product engineering teams to enhance the overall usability and drive NPS of the front-end services.

Requirements:

• Passionate about Technology, Telecommunications and Disruptive models
• 10+ years of experience in Software Development.
• Expertise in ReactJS, AngularJS, Swift, SwiftUI, Network API Calls, JSON parsing, decode, encoding and similar web UI frameworks.
• Good knowledge of CI/CD practices (using Jenkins/Gitlab) etc.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker is an added advantage.
• Should be able to understand the business requirements and design effective solutions independently while guiding junior developers.
• Able to work independently and multi-task effectively
• Willing to support off-hours.
• Metric-driven mindset and obsessive about ensuring clean coding practices
