SUMMARY
Are you an ambitious and adaptable Lead Software Engineer ready to make a real impact? Q2 is looking for a passionate developer to join our dynamic Engineering Development group in Bangalore. You'll dive into the world of fintech, collaborating to design, implement, and support cutting-edge solutions that empower our clients. This role offers an opportunity to shape the future of digital banking by enhancing the Q2 platform with innovative solutions. Ideal candidates are self-starters with a tinkering spirit and a passion for pushing technological boundaries in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Adhere strictly to lean software development and continuous delivery methodologies.
o Research, architect, and build sub-systems that integrate seamlessly with existing and new platforms.
o Break down complex requirements into manageable units of work.
o Thrive within a small, highly skilled, and motivated team.
o Apply advanced design patterns and technologies appropriately without over-engineering solutions.
o Develop high-quality software with a balanced approach to test automation.
o Ensure compliance with all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls.
o Communicate and document technical efforts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
o Mentor and coach junior engineers to maintain a culture of performant and maintainable code.
o Coordinate with globally distributed teams to align product needs and dependencies.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
o Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
o 9+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
o Full-stack .NET development expertise (SQL Server, C#, HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
o Familiarity with MVVM and front-end frameworks (Vue, Angular, React).
o Experience with test automation frameworks and auto-mocking tooling.
o Practical experience with multiple design patterns and SOLID principles.
o Strong communication, coordination, and decision-making skills.
o Domain experience in the banking industry is a plus.This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
