The Staff Software Engineer will report to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering. as a Staff Software Engineer you will be part of a highly talented team that has built a groundbreaking "In the Cloud" web and email security solution. High performance and scalability are the hallmarks of this highly distributed and multi-tenant cloud. The role is of an individual contributor with a possible path towards a leadership position. Minimum relevant experience of 5 years is required. Please apply only if you have a penchant for code, will be totally comfortable with 100% coding role and if you would love to take ownership of a larger component and be accountable for it.

Responsibilities/What You'll Do

• Take end-to-end ownership of the design and implementation of core product functionality and key technical initiatives
• Become a key decision-maker for all things related to product architecture
• Mentor junior members of the team

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree (Engineering, Computer Science)
• Should have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in application development using Java.Experience with designing and implementing enterprise-grade Security or Networking product
• Expert-level technical knowledge: Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture and RESTful APIs, and related frameworks, relational and NoSQL databases, CI/CD (tools and processes)Expert-level technical knowledge: Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture and RESTful APIs, and related frameworks ( e.g. Hibernate, Spring). CI/CD (tools and processes)
• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols, such as: OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, Federation, SSO, etc. a must
• Knowledge about Docker/Kubernetes and container infrastructure would be a plus
