Scope: Responsible for designing, developing, and testing new algorithms, models, or solving approaches based on machine learning, operation research, or other techniques to solve a Blue Yonder business problem with little or no supervision. What you\'ll do: Develops prototypes and proofs of principles for innovative features. Integrates new models and algorithms into a product solution. Mentors team with scientific libraries and development tools. Develops quality software (including test code) according to clean code principles and Blue Yonder standards. Considers operational aspects of machine learning services in early design stages and strives for more automation and self-service to reduce operational efforts for themselves and the team. Empowers team members by sharing knowledge and providing hints so they come up with their own solutions. Participates in translating scientific contributions into patents, publications, or conferences. Timely and proactively communicates impediments to commitments. Communicates information internally across teams. Communicates information internally and externally with customers and partners. Participates in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily standups, and retrospectives. Makes impediments transparent and helps others to overcome theirs. Understands machine learning infrastructure costs of their products and services, monitors actual costs, and optimizes resource consumption. Identifies inefficient use of computational resources in the machine learning pipeline and uses adequate patterns and technologies to resolve this. Scales machine learning pipeline to meet throughput targets and time windows. Reflects on how the team works towards delivering value and actively improves processes within their team. What we are looking for: BE/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech or MCA with 6 to 13 years of experience in Data Scientist role Phd is preferred OR specialistwith CPLEX/C++ and working knowledge of OR/Optimization solutions in supply chain space The candidate will have ability to understand business problem, translate to functional spec and implement it on CPLEX ability to formulate mathematically Supply chain optimization problems aware of Linear programming, Mixed Integer linear programming and various other techniques relevant in this field Our Values If you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
