As a team member, you will have the chance to work on one of the core products within JLL\xe2\x80\x99s Smart Building Solutions, leveraging your expertise in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Edge/IoT, Timeseries and SQL databases. This role requires hands-on experience in Java and Angular development, CI/CD tooling, and extensive knowledge of distributed computing and scaling to Petabytes level.What this job involvesResponsibilities and scope of work:Develop and maintain applications leveraging time-series databases like SkySpark, TimescaleDB, InfluxDB, etc.Design, develop, and enhance software solutions using Java and related technologies.Follow Agile practices and collaborate with the team in US Eastern time zone.Utilize Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS to build robust and user-friendly front-end applications.Manage and optimize SQL databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.Develop and optimize Azure PaaS solutions, leveraging the full capabilities of the platform.Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Artifactory, ADO Pipelines, and Octopus.Contribute to Product Architecture and scale applications to handle Petabytes level of data.Contribute to distributed computing principles and technologies into software design.Apply your knowledge of BMS and IoT domain to design and develop solutions in this space.Implement software utilizing industry standard BMS/IoT protocols like MQTT, BACnet, nHaystack, etc.Follow industry standard SDLC patterns to ensure robust and well-architected software.What we are looking for:Requirements:Bachelor/Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of industry experience and has demonstrated success in delivering large and complex projectsExtensive experience working with time series databases like SkySpark, TimescaleDB, InfluxDB, and SQL databases like PostgreSQL and SQL Server.Experience with SkySpark, Axon and fantom is a strong plus.Strong proficiency in Java, Python and Azure Cloud development. Java is a must.Experience with Apache Tomcat, and Apache web server stack.Proven experience with Angular front-end development.Experience with OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and Okta.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling, such as GitHub Actions, Artifactory, and Octopus.Knowledge of BMS/IoT including protocols like BACnet, Haystack, Modbus etc.Extensive experience with MQTT, REST, Distributed Computing and Message-Driven Development.Excellent written and verbal skills, detail-oriented and excellent critical thinker.Ability to analyze complex problems and break them down, delivery and outcome oriented.What you can expect from usYou\xe2\x80\x99ll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
