Position Summary... Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events. Torbit SLB team is always looking to push the limits of technology and develop cutting edge solutions What you\'ll do: Develop innovation strategies, processes, and best practices Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects Ensure business needs are being met Lead and participate in medium to large scale, complex, cross-functional projects, from discovery to production Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates Supports business objectives Troubleshoot business and production issues Utilize industry research to improve Wal-Mart\'s technology environment What you\'ll bring: 12 + years of software development experience Proficient in Go (Golang) programming languages In depth knowledge of load balancing, networking, DNS, TCP/IP, and UDP Development or Operational expertise with Linux kernel Development experience with network drivers or eBPF/XDP Experience and knowledge with cloud platforms (OpenStack / public cloud) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity and experience working with large scale infrastructures, and being able to explain reasons for specific design decisions Willingness to support code in production and be a point of escalation to resolve About Walmart Global Tech Imagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
