Job Description

Responsibilities:

Join MaxLinear and you will work closely with a world-class team of IC designers to design high-performance ICs with RF, analog, mixed-signal and digital systems integrated on a single chip.
In this role, you will focus on:Lead design, implementation, and verification of critical sub-blocks of a major Subsystem like Rx, Tx and PLL Characterize and debug relevant blocks and systems Analyze the effects of non-idealities on circuit performance Report the results of design, analysis and evaluation

Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of RF/Mixed-signal circuits and high speed serdes subsystems with ability to drive topology choices In-depth understanding of Mixed-signal circuit blocks such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs Solid understanding of CMOS process and device physics Working knowledge of RF/analog layout techniques. Familiarity to FINFET layout is a must Hands-on experience testing your own designs in the lab and define production test requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills (

BE/ME/MS in Electrical Engineering with at least 4 years of experience in RF/Analog/Mixed-signal design or PhD in Electrical Engineering
