Staff RF/Analog IC Design Engineer

The Staff RF/Analog IC Design Engineer will be responsible for independently designing analog/RF blocks of the SoC design. The blocks include high speed SerDes, PLL, Oscillators, PMU, LDO as well as the design of mmWave RF circuitry for the next generation chips for Molex Wireless Group

Responsibilities:

Work with chip/system architecture, physical design, and design teams to define the SerDes, PLL, ADC, DAC, PMU modules and mmWave RF Designs

Work with Senior designers to deliver the implementation of analog blocks

Work with the layout team and provide necessary inputs for correctness of high-speed layout

Develop and refine specification of the micro-architecture

Analyze performance, power and area tradeoffs, and make implementation choices.

Work with Architecture and Design teams to ensure micro-architecture and design is fully verified/validated across multiple platforms. Provide high level circuit performance data to architecture team for closing the loop and improving the system models as applicable.

Implement, verify, and validate the design.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

Masters in electrical engineering

Experience Requirement:

7+ years of experience in the area of Analog/Mixed Signal Design and verification of silicon

Experience in developing, verifying, and productizing SERDES, CDR, and PLL/DLL designs

Strong foundation in SoC architecture, design, verification and physical implementation

Strong analytical problem solving, and attention to details

Excellent technical documentation skills

Experience with design of Rx or Tx chain for RF

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, self-starter

Experience in startup environments
