Job Description

I. Position Overview:



The ANM/GNM Nurse for the Vaccination Program is responsible for administering vaccinations and ensuring the smooth implementation of vaccination initiatives. The role involves working closely with healthcare teams, maintaining accurate records, and providing education on immunization.

II. Key Responsibilities:



Vaccination Administration:

Administer vaccinations following established protocols and guidelines.
Ensure the safe storage, handling, and disposal of vaccines.
Monitor and assess patients for any adverse reactions post-vaccination.

Patient Education:

Provide clear and concise information to patients and caregivers about the importance of vaccinations.
Address questions and concerns regarding vaccine safety and efficacy.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date vaccination records, including patient information and vaccine lot numbers.
Complete and submit required documentation to health authorities in a timely manner.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to coordinate vaccination schedules and outreach programs.
Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a seamless vaccination process.

Community Outreach:

Participate in community vaccination programs and outreach initiatives.
Collaborate with community leaders and organizations to promote vaccination awareness.

Emergency Preparedness:

Be prepared to handle emergency situations related to vaccination, including anaphylaxis or other adverse events.
Follow established protocols for emergency response and ensure readiness to address unexpected situations.

Quality Assurance:

Adhere to quality assurance standards in vaccine administration.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on vaccination best practices.

III. Qualifications:



Education:

ANM or GNM certification from a recognized nursing school.
Valid nursing license in the state of practice.

Experience:

Previous experience in vaccination programs or public health initiatives is preferred.

Skills:

Proficient in administering vaccines and understanding cold chain management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of vaccine safety protocols.

IV. Working Conditions:



The position may require mobility to various vaccination sites, including clinics, community centers, and outreach locations. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate vaccination schedules, including weekends and evenings.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
