Job Description

i) Will look after nursing care of the patients and also establish a personal rapport in OPD with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.

ii) Providing Pre and Post operative care, nursing care as per the protocols.

iii) Monitoring and administering medication and IV infusions.

iv) Writing records as per the requirement in the ward, ICU and OT

v) Will adhere to infection control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures.

vi)Resolve patient problems and needs by Utilizing multi-disciplinary team strategies.

vii) Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

viii) Respond to emergency situation like cardiac arrest by following established protocols.

ix) Maintain nursing supplies inventory by checking stocks to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies from pharmacy by maintaining proper records.

x) Participate in all training programs of the hospital as required and update nursing skills from time to time.

xi) Participate in overall activities of the organisation including outreach programs.

If posted in Operation theatre:

i) Will try to understand the requirements of surgery and help in organising it.

ii) Will ensure smooth shifting of patients from OT to Ward.

iii) Will assist the scrub nurse in maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of the surgical area and materials.

iv) All documentation in the operation theatre should be meticulously maintained.

v) Monitoring the patients in the recovery room.

vi) Assist in other works as and when required that may be assigned by the management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
