Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both patients and staff. This role involves coordinating patient care, monitoring vital signs, administering medication, providing patient education, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote a seamless care experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Assess, plan, and implement nursing care plans for patients based on their needs. Monitor and record vital signs, assess patient responses, and report any changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed.

Collaboration:

Work closely with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure patient needs are met.

Documentation:

Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including notes on observations, treatments, and care provided. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies in record-keeping.

Patient Education:

Provide patient and family education on managing conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care post-discharge. Encourage patient participation in their own care through effective communication and guidance.

Safety and Infection Control:

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to hospital hygiene and safety protocols. Follow infection control procedures to protect patients, staff, and visitors.

Professional Development:

Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain nursing skills and knowledge. Stay updated with the latest nursing practices, procedures, and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

Education:

GNM Nursing OR BSC Nursing

Experience:

0-5 Years

Skills:

Strong patient care skills, attention to detail, communication, empathy, and adaptability.

Work Environment:

Hospital or clinical setting with shift-based work schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
