A nurse provides specialized care for patients with assisting in clinical procedures, surgery preparation, patient monitoring, and postoperative care to support and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibility:
Provide direct nursing care: monitor vitals, administer medications/IV fluids/injections, assist doctors during rounds & procedures, and maintain hygiene and comfort of patients.
Assist in diagnostics, sample collection, pre-/post-operative care, wound dressing, and basic procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation--admission, discharge, medication logs, and progress notes.
Ensure ward/bedside hygiene, linen management, a clean/sterile environment, and proper handling of linens and instruments.
Liaise with doctors and allied health professionals; assist in implementing care plans and patient management protocols.
Communicate with patients and families: explain care plans and instructions and educate about health, hygiene, diet, and post-treatment care.
Work in shift duty roster (day/night), including emergencies and on-call as per hospital schedule.
Follow hospital protocols, safety & infection-control practices, record-keeping, teamwork, and professional conduct.
Qualification:
Diploma/Certificate in General Nursing & Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Knowledge in BLS is mandatory.
Experience:

Overall
: 3 years of experience working in clinical/hospital settings.

Relevant:
0-2 years in general nursing.
3.
Age:
23-25 years.
4. Strong knowledge to ensure familiarity with hospital protocols, patient handling, emergencies, and hygiene/infection control.
