Job Description

Responsible to provide direct patient care to individuals in the pre-surgical, operative and recovery periods Coordinate Admission / Discharge / Transfer / Billing processes for continual patient care services Review patients history and medication records and exchange information for continuous care(shift to shift) Explaining the procedure and other required details for surgery to patients and attendants on admission Room allotment to the patients Pre Op instructions and procedures and monitoring patients' health (BP/Dilation/Special medications) Diet Instruction to the patients. Ensure patient comfort. Co-ordinating with OT and Surgeon on patient admission. Ensure patients availability on time. Shifting the patients to the OT. Receiving patients back from OT Immediate Post OP Instruction to patients and attenders. Ensure patient stability and provide Post OP Dressing. Taking care of Post OP Medications Ensuring Discharge summary to be ready before discharge. Post Op Instructions & Discharge Summary Handover to the patients. Feedback from patients. Issuing Privilege card to patients at the time of discharge.
