Job Summary

The Staff Nurse provides direct nursing care to residents in an assisted living facility, ensuring safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. This role involves medication management, health monitoring, coordination with healthcare providers, and support of residents' physical and emotional well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

Perform resident assessments and monitor health status, vital signs, and changes in condition Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies Provide wound care, injections, and other nursing interventions as required Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions

Care Coordination

Communicate with physicians, pharmacists, families, and interdisciplinary care teams Assist with development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans Coordinate resident appointments, treatments, and follow-up care

Documentation & Compliance

Accurately document assessments, medications, treatments, and incidents Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and nursing standards Maintain resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Resident & Family Support

Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and care plans Provide emotional support and advocacy for residents Promote resident safety, comfort, and quality of life

Supervision & Collaboration

Supervise and support nursing assistants and care aides as applicable Delegate tasks appropriately and provide guidance and training Collaborate with administrative and support staff to ensure smooth facility operations
Qualifications

Required

Current and valid RN or LPN/LVN license (state-specific) Graduation from an accredited nursing program Current CPR/First Aid certification Knowledge of geriatric care and assisted living regulations

Preferred

0-2 years of experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatrics Experience with medication administration systems (eMAR) Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift residents or equipment as needed Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
Work Environment

Assisted living or residential care setting May include day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
