Job Description

Patient care:

Provide direct medical and personal care, monitor patient conditions, administer prescribed medications, and assist with treatments and procedures.

Assessment and monitoring:

Perform physical examinations, monitor vital signs, and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, document patient symptoms, and prepare reports.

Team collaboration:

Work with physicians, other nurses, and various healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and implement care plans.

Patient and family education:

Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatments, and how to manage care after discharge.

Leadership and supervision:

May supervise and guide less experienced nursing staff, nursing students, and other support personnel.
