Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Patient Care

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress. Assist with daily activities such as hygiene, mobility, and feeding when required.

2. Clinical Duties

Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions as prescribed. Perform wound care, catheterization, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures. Assist doctors during examinations, treatments, and medical procedures.

3. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and nursing notes. Report changes in patient conditions to physicians and supervisors promptly.

4. Safety & Compliance

Follow infection control policies, patient safety standards, and hospital protocols. Ensure proper use of medical equipment and report malfunctions.

5. Patient & Family Communication

Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions. Provide emotional support and promote patient comfort and well-being.

6. Team Collaboration

Coordinate with the healthcare team for patient care planning. Participate in nursing rounds, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
