Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory guidelines. The role involves assessing patients, planning and implementing nursing care, and evaluating outcomes to ensure optimal patient recovery and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing IV therapy. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergencies. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards. Manage and maintain medical equipment and supplies. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and perform basic life support (BLS) when necessary. Participate in continuous professional development and training programs. Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Education:

Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Registration:

Must be a registered nurse (RN) with [State Nursing Council or NMC].

Experience:

[0-5 years] of experience in a hospital or clinical setting (Freshers may apply if applicable).
