Job Summary

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves assessing patient needs, planning and implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes to promote health, prevent illness, and provide compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and monitoring vital signs. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Assist doctors during medical examinations and procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and post-hospital care. Ensure infection control and patient safety standards are maintained at all times. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care. Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow established protocols. Participate in quality assurance, audits, and continuous professional development programs. Uphold hospital policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.
