Conduct physical exams, take vital signs (like blood pressure, temperature, pulse), and monitor patient behavior and condition.
Care and Treatment:
Administer medications, provide treatments as prescribed, and change wound dressings.
Planning and Coordination:
Develop and implement patient care plans, coordinate care with doctors and other healthcare professionals, and interpret diagnostic tests.
Documentation:
Accurately record patient medical history, symptoms, and all treatments and actions taken in electronic health records.
Patient and Family Education:
Counsel and educate patients and their families on health conditions, disease prevention, and maintaining health.
Support and Collaboration:
Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, and supervise junior nursing staff, aides, and assistants.
