Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and documentation. Assist doctors during medical procedures, treatments, and rounds. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies and legal standards. Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities promptly. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge care, and preventive health practices. Ensure infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital guidelines are strictly followed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (doctors, therapists, pharmacists, dieticians) to deliver holistic care. Respond to medical emergencies (Code Blue, trauma, critical cases) efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the ward/ICU/OT as assigned. Participate in staff training, continuing education, and quality improvement programs.
